  1. Katherine, which key factors influenced your decision to end the game? My guesses would be the dwindling player base, as well as the difficulties of creating updates. I think the game had a good direction, but the updates took extremely long, and the game was very hard for newer players to jump into. If you ever start a new game, I'd heavily suggest that it would be more welcoming to newer players. Another comment I had, was that the game didn't keep you interested; the over world felt empty, and void. If you ever create a new game, I'd suggest creating a global player-run economy. No game has ever tried this. What I mean by this, is that the players should be able to interact with, and influence the over world. An example would allowing players to create settlements. Not only would this encourage players to keep playing so they can constantly work on their settlement, but would encourage them to work with other players. I would also enjoy features besides just shooting. It may be a lot to ask, but I would've seriously enjoyed features like crafting resources, spells, custom character trees, abilities, etc. It would also be cool if you had races/clans that allowed you to play differently; what if you could play as a chimera character, and battle for control over the world. If you had control over a certain area via a settlement, you and your race/clan would have exclusive access to you shrines there. I know that this may not have helped that much, but I hope that you don't stop creating games. This game hasn't been out long, and yet it was a good concept, and was lots of fun to play. I hope you'll develop new games, and have a successful time.
  2. Does this work for each different type of relic?
  3. I'm going to say it now, hopefully representing the rest of the Survived By community; T7 is far too hard! I went in there with full t9 armor and died... How are new players going to get past T7 without either endgame players(who they may not know) or by skipping it. The point of a dungeon is for the characters to go into it, but people are avoiding T7. The main issues would be the confusing schematic which makes it easy for you to die in, and which also hides enemies that will poison you to death. as well as the completely unfair boss. I think that its fine to be challenging, but it is currently impossible. The things the team could fix would be: Make it easier for players to find their way around. Reduce poison damage. Either get rid of the boss debuff or reduce the amount of mobs the boss spawns. Either have less fast moving mobs or reduce the health and damage of the mobs. Give the boss less attack range All I'm saying is that T7 is the worst place for new players, and they will probably either rage quit or quit the game entirely. As the developers, they are responsible to make their games appealing, and to help players that need it. So for heaven's sake, just fix T7 already!
  4. While playing the game, especially later on, keys become harder and harder to find. As mobs become progressively deadlier, its hard to obtain keys. At this point I'm starting to think that higher tier mobs have less key drop rates. Without keys, players will not be able to fight bosses in order to get better equipment. To counter this, I think regular keys(All keys excluding Hard Mode Keys,) should either cost less at the treasure hunter, have higher drop rates, or have higher sell values that would let the player make some money to buy keys.
  5. I was trying to craft fire sand, and it says "Claim." I try to, but it won't let me. 1. 2. I cannot craft... Someone please help me.
  6. When will the Hot Fix be over, or is it already over. Either way, I still can't log into the game. Does anyone know when we can play again?

  11. Community Events I've been playing Survived By for about a week now, and I've noticed many large and strange areas. Examples being the orange field, the pyramid, ect. I realized that these could be used for community events- All players being informed of a rare special monthly dungeon containing a much more difficult boss with special armors and weapons that cannot be found or crafted anywhere else. Settlements While playing, I've also noticed many destroyed villages / houses. I thought it might be a good idea to give players the option to repair these places, build walls, houses, shops, etc at the expense coins, Electrum, and lots of resources. This would help players that are under-prepared for new regions they have entered, and give players a place to sell, craft, build, and talk. I think that these would be extremely hard to set up, as they will cost lots of resources, and will constantly be attacked by surrounding mobs. If built to a certain degree, you will be able to hire guards to protect the settlement. These guards can be equipped with better gear. If this was a thing, it would be nice to unlock a city hall if the settlement is extremely advanced. City halls would honor all players who helped upgrade, build, and advance the settlement. If you founded the settlement, or helped with the majority of it, you will be able to receive extremely rare legacy cards. You would also be able to purchase a special gravestone which is a statue of the founding player in the center of the settlement. I feel like this would make the game a lot more interesting. Bugs Certain objects such as the chimera statue cannot be inspected. You may press E, but it will not work. Dungeons will sometimes not let you inside even if you have keys. Seems to be much more rare though. Game-play Suggestions Coins are very difficult to get. A solution would to let bosses drop more coins than normal mobs. Electrum can only be obtained easily by either dying or buying them. This makes it harder on the player. Solution would to have some sort of exchange system for coins to Electrum. 50-100 silver coins --> 1 Electrum While playing, I noticed an extreme lack of weapons. While direct upgrades are easy and simple for new players and advanced players alike, a solution would be to have two weapon choices for each tier which offers more buffs in different areas. This would give players the opportunity to have weapons that match their play-style. The quest board is not used by many players. One way to fix this is by introducing a new adventurer rank system similar to many shows. (copper plate, silver plate, platinum plate, gold plate, diamond plate, ect.) Instead of certain privileges being based off of level alone, maybe having a seperate rank system will encourage new and experienced players to complete more quests. Having a higher plate could give the player certain rare quest options, and possibly privileges in settlements. Tell me what you think about my ideas. I would love to hear how you agree or disagree.
